With this series of images, a
human face appears disassembled
by projecting it onto an uneven
facade. As a foundation for these
projections, I used recycled
cylindrical tin cans, labeled
again with recycled coffee
stained office paper and small
cubes made of recycled wood. I
also experimented by projecting a
disassembled image yet again onto
another fragmented surface. I
have included both images, so the
change between surfaces is
evident. All images are
photographed with 5x4 e-6
transparency film. While working
for some time with these
particular reccuring faces, I
allocated titles to each set of
the disfigurements. In the order
they appear: Joseph D'Costa,
Eyeslice, Eyeslice, Tai Bibi and
Lynn Peghiny. Image sizes 92 x
114 cm / 36 x 44 in giclee
