With this series of images, I was
provoked to attend Rolling
Thunder which is now known as an
event in Washington, DC where
American war veterans travel from
all areas of the country to
celebrate their patriotism.
During the event, a third party
was asked to photograph the
figure under this blue pleated
burqa, which could be considered
the most fundamental symbol of
slavery. "...his photography
marked by a fascination with
those with whom he had the most
profound affinities, the ordinary
people and its suburbs. His
pictures of them were of form of
